Softaculous is an auto installer that allows users to easily install over 380 applications, including popular platforms like WordPress, Joomla, and Magento. It features a WordPress Manager that enables users to manage multiple WordPress websites from a single dashboard. For information on how to install WordPress on your hosting account, please see the following steps:
- Log in to your Marksystem client area and click on Services.
- You will see your products/services listed here. Click on Active beside your hosting package
- On the menu on the left, click on Login to cPanel
- Once logged in to your cPanel control panel, click on the icon for Softaculous Apps Installer
- Hover over the WordPress square > click Install
- A form will appear that you will need to fill in with your website details
- Remove “wp” from the In Directory field (this will save the installation to www.yourdomain.com and not www.yourdomain.com/wp)
- Complete the rest of the form and click Install at the end. You can now access the WordPress dashboard from www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin
